Abstract:

The author considers the Tula necropolis and metric books as a unique source on the history of the city of Tula after 1917. The importance of the necropolis as a source is especially great when studying those periods of history or historical phenomena that are not fully reflected in written sources. The circumstances of death and burial quite fully characterize the daily life of Tula of the revolutionary era.
