Abstract:

The article analyzes the features of the level of education, financial and family status, lifestyle Vyatka governors of the second half of XIX — early XX century. Based on the analysis of archival data, the author comes to a conclusion on the conformity of qualitative characteristics of the Vyatka governors of the demands of the age. The materials of Vyatka province confirmed the ruling in the historiography of the thesis the increasing requirements of the Central leadership to the quality characteristics of governors.
