Abstract:

The article traces the process of completing the evolution of the image of Prince Dmitry Donskoy in the late 1930s — the first half of the 1940s in the domestic ideology. On the basis of the study of the works of Soviet historians and publicists of that time, it is concluded that the evaluation of the characters of history with the direction of ideology, political doctrine of the USSR This time was the starting point for the introduction of the famous Moscow Prince in terms of national heroes.
