Abstract:

On the example of publications of the regional newspaper of the Leningrad Front «On Guard of the Fatherland», the article considers the theme of military-patriotic education of the soldiers of the Red Army during the battle of Leningrad using examples and characters of Russian military history. For analysis were accepted articles examining the exploits of the Red Army, in the light of the life and work of the brightest representative of Russian military science, Generalissimo A.V. Suvorov. An active study of the Suvorov instructions and the application of the experience of his army in the defense of the Fatherland was noted.
