Abstract:

The question of the health of Tula gunsmiths is one of the important components of system of measures of social assistance, established at TOZ in the second half of XVIII ‒ first half XIX centuries, the preconditions which were identified in the previous period, the first half of the XVIII century. The organization of medical care for TOZ included the solution of several issues: Tula gunsmiths in the General health care system, the establishment of a place to provide this assistance (hospital, hospital, almshouse), the selection of qualified medical personnel, medical examination, prescription of medicines and regimens, inpatient treatment of gunsmiths, providing medical care to poor gunsmiths.
