Abstract:

This article is devoted to the problem of the formation of civil and national identity in the context of assessing the historical and cultural evolution of the Soviet model of identity. When considering attempts to create monocultural communities, we analyze the social and political aspects of creating imperatives of national and civic identity. The study analyzes the period 1930-1980, the positive and negative aspects of identity programs associated with the imposition of communist, Marxist-Leninist ideology, as well as the crises that Soviet society faced in the pre-war and post-war periods.
