Abstract:

In this article, the author analyzes the main events of the mortgage and / or global financial crisis of 2007-2009, considers the main versions of its occurrence and identifies the main stages of development. At the same time, the main emphasis is on identifying the lower chronological structure of this phenomenon and establishing a causal connection between the main events. The author considers the financial crisis as a historical phenomenon, using appropriate methods and an impressive source base. In conclusion, among other things, it is concluded that the primary problems in the mortgage market, which became the main cause of the recession, and the failure of the reverse interpretation.
