Abstract:

The article analyzes the image of a heroic woman of the generation of the war years, which is depicted in the books of S. A. Alexievich «The war is not a woman´s face» and «The Last Meetings». The incredible difficulties that women overcame during the war are shown. The feat of women front-line soldiers who made a significant contribution to the realization of the victory of the Soviet people over fascist Germany is revealed.
