Abstract:

This article is devoted to the study of the folklore of the Terek and Stavropol Cossack groups. In the course of the study, we analyze the main historical, social and linguistic features of the formation of song traditions of the Cossacks of the Stavropol Territory, as well as the linguocultural features of the folklore of the Cossacks, which were part of the villages of the Stavropol province. The historical and diachronic discourses of the study allow, through retrospective, to analyze the basic data on the historical preconditions and reasons for the formation and isolation of the folklore of the Stavropol Cossacks. Sociological discourse makes it possible to evaluate, through folklore, individual features of the sociocultural system of the Stavropol Cossacks in the historical and cultural space.
