Abstract:

The article tells about Alexander Vasilyevich Fedotov - Hero of the Soviet Union, Honored Test Pilot of the USSR, winner of the Lenin Prize, Major General of Aviation. In the aviation world, pilot A.V. Fedotov is rightfully considered one of the most outstanding pilots of the twentieth century. He brought up a brilliant galaxy of test pilots of the Mikoyan Design Bureau and serial aircraft factories, which glorified the best achievements of domestic science and technology at various air shows and shows from Le Bourget (Paris), Farnborough (London) to Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and others.
