Abstract:

In this paper, the author researches one aspect of a multi-level system for the preparation of teachers, teachers´ conventions. The main purpose of the congress was the retraining of teachers has already taken place. By the end of the XIX century teachers´ conventions are an important form of social thought and pedagogical movement. For the first time this idea outlined Nikolai Aleksandrovich Korf, an outstanding figure of education and pedagogy. According to the author the greatest contribution to the development and implementation of ideas of N.A. Korf made Nikolai Fedorovich Bunakov. He was the organizer and head of the 11 Congress of Teachers, which has implemented its own pedagogical ideas and views.
