Abstract:

The influence of natural elements in the life of the serfs of the Tambov province in the first half of the XIX century. We analyzed the work of historians on the role of natural elements in the life of an agrarian society in the first half of the XIX century. It was revealed that in lean years of the peasants became bleak and miserable. Over the entire period under review food crises and epidemics usually take catastrophic proportions. Examples of attempts to strict regulation of everyday life of residents at the time of epidemic diseases. We describe the changes in the situation of peasant dwellings. It is proved that unexpected crop failures and epidemics, are completely destroyed their way of life of the peasants, hit by only sporadically, poor living conditions and poor sanitation have a greater impact on the daily lives of agrarian society.
