Abstract:

In the collections of the Tula regional universal scientific library kept a number of rare editions, devoted to the Patriotic war of 1812. Works by famous and unknown authors, military and civilian, prominent poets and writers of the nameless, forgotten and preserved for centuries, is not the view from the top of the historical events, the living experience of the participants and eyewitnesses of war, men of 1812.
